Yosi Amelia

Yosi Amelia is the Lead Program – Climate and Ecosystem, bringing a strong scientific foundation from her Meteorology degree at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). Her academic background deepened her curiosity about Indonesia’s natural resources and the climatic systems that shape their resilience. Driven by this passion, Yosi has been actively involved with a range of non-profit organizations and government institutions, focusing on climate action, environmental governance, and data-informed policymaking. Her experience spans program implementation, research, and facilitating cross-sector collaboration for climate solutions. In her current role, she steers Madani Berkelanjutan’s key forest and climate initiatives, translating science into policy, strengthening local capacity, and advancing collective efforts to safeguard Indonesia’s ecosystems.
