COP30 in Belém, Brazil marks a crucial moment in shaping the post-2025 implementation of the Paris Agreement. In this context, civil society, Indigenous communities, and grassroots organizations must step forward as strong and united key actors.

Given the broad scope of issues and the complexity of climate negotiations, WGII, together with its partners, is organizing a series of thematic training sessions. The aim is to accelerate and deepen participants’ understanding, strengthen analytical skills, and build strategic synergies in the lead-up to COP30.

This training series is titled:
“Strengthening the Capacity of Civil Society and Indigenous Communities Toward COP30: Understanding Climate Issues, Mechanisms, and Advocacy Strategies.”
